WATERTOWN, S.D.–One of the most interesting races on primary election night, June 4th, in the KWAT listening area will be the Senate race in District 4.
Two legislators who’ve served in the House, Fred Deutsch of Florence and Stephanie Sauder of Bryant, are running against each other for that seat.
Deutsch says he brings experience to the table…
Sauder is a first term legislator, but saw this Senate opening in District 4 as one she felt she needed to pursue…
Sauder was endorsed by Governor Kristi Noem in her House race two years ago. She says it’ll be up to the governor to decide if she wants to endorse her again.
