WATERTOWN, S.D.–The barricade signs went up this morning on a portion of Highway 212 in Watertown that’s under construction.
An impact roller (pictured) being pulled by a tractor was being used to break up the aging concrete road surface…..
South Dakota DOT Engineer Bryce Olson tells KWAT News that Highway 212 is blocked to thru traffic from Highway 81 to 8th Street East–effective today…
The project is getting started just a few days behind schedule because of weather…
The $12.7 million re-pave of Highway 212 from Highway 81 to 19th Street East has a scheduled completion date of October 28th. J & J Earthworks of Milbank is the general contractor.
