Codington County Commission rescinds burn ban

WATERTOWN, S.D.—The Codington County Commission on Tuesday rescinded a ban on open burning in the county that had been imposed on October 13th.

Cold temperatures and recent snowfall have eased the fire danger.

Authorities say you should still check weather forecasts, and avoid burning if higher winds are predicted.
