Codington County Commission approves cost of living increases for 2022

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Employees of Codington County will see a cost of living increase in their salaries in 2022, and that includes the commissioners that approved the increase.
County Commission Chairwoman Brenda Hanten says commissioners approved a 1.75 percent salary increase at their meeting Tuesday.
Commissioners will now make just over $1,950 a month, which is a raise of $33 a month over last year.
Hanten was re-elected board chairwoman for the year, and Commissioner Lee Gabel was re-elected vice chair.
