Clark home destroyed by fire

CLARK, S.D.–A home in Clark was destroyed by fire over the weekend.
The Clark Police and Fire Departments were called to a home in the 1000-block of North Commercial Street just before 3 p.m. Saturday and found heavy smoke and flames coming from the home.
There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A news release from the Clark Police Department indicates the home is considered, “a total loss.”
Assisting agencies were the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark Ambulance, Clark County Emergency Management and South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks.
Units were on the scene for four hours.
