Castlewood woman identified as victim of deadly Roberts County crash

SISSETON, S.D.- A Castlewood woman has been identified as the person who died in a two-vehicle crash Saturday, 15 miles south of Sisseton.
The Highway Patrol says 37 year-old Heidi Mack was killed when the John Deere Gator she was driving was attempting to make a left hand turn from Whipple Road onto an approach, when she was struck by a Chevy Equinox that was behind her, and attempting to pass her.
Mack was taken to Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton. Her obituary says she died the following day at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
The driver that struck her, 31 year-old Ignacio Galarza of Watertown, had minor injuries.
