WATERTOWN, S.D.–After a summer, fall, and winter of on ongoing construction and detours, Montgomery’s main entrance on Highway 212 in Watertown will open on February 1st, the same day the highly-anticipated Lewis Drug store opens for business at Sinclair Square.
In a news release to KWAT News, President and owner Eric Sinclair and owner Clark Sinclair said, “we want to thank our customers in and around the Watertown area for being so diligent in shopping with us. Entering our parking lot during the construction phase has been a challenge for customers and employees alike, so having our main entrance back is a big relief. We also want to thank the City of Watertown for the investment and improvements made to Highway 212.”
Montgomery’s opened their doors in Watertown in February of 2013, and the company is celebrating 135 years in business this year. Fourth and fifth generation owners, Clark Sinclair and Eric Sinclair, founded Sinclair Land and Cattle Company as the development arm of Montgomery’s Furniture. Together with Crestone Companies, they built the new premier retail development known as Sinclair Square. Lewis Drug is the first tenant to open, with additional businesses to be announced later this year.
