BREAKING: One person killed in accident just west of Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident just west of Watertown.
It happened around seven o’clock this morning on Highway 20 near Lake Kampeska.
It involved a semi and at least one other vehicle.
The Highway Patrol confirms one person was killed, but no other details are available yet.
Public Safety Department spokesman Tony Mangan tells KWAT News Highway Patrol investigators were still on the scene mid-morning conducting their investigation.
It’s not known if road conditions played a factor in the crash. There was ground drifting in the area at the time.
