ST. PAUL, Minn.–Not much love for Minnesota Wild head coach Bruce Boudreau on Valentine’s Day.

Boudreau has been fired by General Manager Bill Geurin following a 4-3 shootout loss to the New York Rangers Thursday night.

Boudreau is the 8th NHL coach to lose his job this season.

The Wild announced Dean Evason has been named their interim head coach. More details on his hiring can be read by clicking here: https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/dean-evason-named-interim-head-coach-021420/c-315059314
