BREAKING: Girl on golf cart killed in crash in Roberts County

NEW EFFINGTON, S.D.–The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a teenage girl was killed last (Wednesday) night in a collision between a golf cart and pickup truck one mile southeast of New Effington in Roberts County.
It happened just before 9:30 on State Highway 127.
The golf cart was westbound when it crossed the centerline and collided with the eastbound pickup.
The 19 year-old girl driving the golf cart died at the scene.
The 70 year-old man driving the pickup, and his 69 year-old female passenger, were not injured.
Names of those involved have not been released.
