WATERTOWN, S.D.—Northeast South Dakota will get a taste of all that winter brings with it over the coming days.

First, the area is under a Wind Chill Advisory until noon Thursday, as wind chill values drop to as cold as 35 below zero.

Then on Friday, snow moves in, and forecaster Amy Parkin says areas along I-29 and east of there could get quite a bit….

And the concern goes beyond just snowfall….

Eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin could see snow amounts of 8-12 inches this weekend.
