Authorities investigating theft from Volga business

VOLGA, S.D.–The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating theft from Dollar General on Highway 14 in Volga.
There were two suspects, a male and a female, who entered the business and began putting items under their shirts, in a handbag, and down the man’s pants.
While in the store, the male suspect (pictured) had used an aerosol can to become high. When questioned by the store manager, the two quickly fled the store heading eastbound on Highway 14 in a gold-colored Kia Rio. That car had been stolen in Parker, South Dakota.
