PIERRE, S.D.–Federal authorities are joining the Pierre Police Department with the investigation of two thefts at a Pierre store where four firearms were stolen.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with the National Shooting Sports Foundation are both offering $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the burglars or information that leads to the recovery of the firearms.

Authorities say the Runnings store in Pierre was burglarized on Sunday and again on Tuesday of this week.

Video surveillance (pictured) shows two individuals wearing masks and gloves forcing their way thru the front door.

From there the burglars moved directly to the firearms section where they broke into display cases.

The types of firearms stolen were not released.
