Work being done today on traffic signal lights at busy Watertown intersection

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Beginning this (Tuesday) morning, the Watertown Street Division along with a local contractor, will be working on the signal lights at the intersection of First Avenue North and 19th Street East.

This work will consist of adding protected left turn signal lights on each mast arm to accommodate left turning movements.

While this work is being completed, traffic will be allowed to flow each direction. All-way stop signs will be setup up temporarily to control traffic.

The work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday morning, May 4th.
