Woman killed in head on crash with semi on U.S. Highway 81 in Yankton County

UNDATED–A 19 year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a two vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 81, 11 miles north of Yankton.
The woman was driving southbound, crossed the center line, and collided with a northbound semi truck and trailer.
She was taken by ambulance to a Yankton hospital, then airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital where she died from her injuries. Her name has not been released.
The 64 year-old man driving the semi had minor injuries.
And authorities have released the name of a woman killed last week in a collision at a U.S. Highway 85 intersection just outside Spearfish.
She’s identified as 68 year-old Mary Keats of Bell Fourche.
