Woman killed in rear-end collision just east of Wagner

WAGNER, S.D.–The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reports that an 89-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle crash on Friday night two miles east of Wagner.
It happened on South Dakota Highway 46. That’s where a pickup and a Ford Edge collided.
The Ford Edge had slowed and was preparing to turn into a driveway when it was rear-ended by the pickup.
The driver of the Ford Edge–an 89 year-old woman–was taken to Wagner Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The 24 year-old woman driving the pickup had minor injuries.
The names of those involved have not been released.
