TORONTO, S.D.—The South Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a woman killed when she rear-ended a semi trailer in Deuel County last week.

Sixty year-old Robyn Lind of Kearney, Nebraska died in the crash just after 12 noon on Friday at mile marker 150 of Interstate 29, five miles west of Toronto.

Lind was driving northbound when she ran into the trailer of a semi driven by 49 year-old Marlen Kasemodel of Toronto.

Authorities say Kasemodel had braked suddenly to avoid two dogs that were running across the highway.

Kasemodel was not injured.
