Woman dies after crashing into parked vehicle in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS,, S.D.–Sioux Falls police are investigating a fatal traffic crash within the city limits.
It happened around midnight this (Monday) morning when a car was southbound in the 3200 block of Valley View Road.
The car hit a parked vehicle on the side of the street.
The driver, a 50 year-old woman, was dead at the scene.
Police say she was not wearing a seat belt, and are investigating to determine whether drugs, alcohol or speed were contributing factors in the crash.
The woman’s name has not been released.
