Wintry weather moves into the region

WATERTOWN, S.D.–A weather system has ushered in wintry conditions to northeast South Dakota.

The National Weather Service posted a Winter Weather Advisory for Clark, Day, Roberts, Marshall and Traverse counties until midnight tonight.  Snow amounts will vary from 1 to 5 inches. Any snow that falls will be blown around by northwest winds gusting to 50 miles per hour at times.

Adjacent areas are under a Wind Advisory until 6 p.m.
