WATERTOWN, S.D.–The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Storm Watch for eastern South Dakota from tonight through Friday night as a strong storm system gets ready to move through the state.
Forecaster Renee Wise says precipitation begins today, perhaps as freezing rain, and then transitions to all snow on Friday….
This may not be winter’s last gasp. Wise says yet another storm system early next week could bring even more snow to the area….
