WATERTOWN, S.D.–A return to winter weather across the region today.

After setting record high temperatures Tuesday, snow moves in today…and in some cases…quite a bit of it…

National Weather Service forecaster James Telken says enough snow will fall to impact travel conditions…

Watertown is included in an eight county area of northeast South Dakota that’s under a Winter Storm Warning (pink shaded area) from noon to midnight.

The quick-moving system will exit the region tonight, and we’ll be back into sunny skies with melting temperatures by Thursday.
