WATERTOWN, S.D.–Travel conditions will be less than ideal today as a weather system makes its way through the region.

A Winter Storm Warning (pink shaded area) is posted for northeast South Dakota and western Minnesota throughout the day today. It expires at midnight. 

Forecaster Scott Doering says moderate to heavy snow is expected all day…

Total accumulations in the Watertown area are expected to be between 5 and 8 inches, but some areas could see more than that…

There will be enough wind today to create visbility issues…
