Wevik leaving Watertown for administration role at Bon Homme

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown boys basketball and girls golf coach Zach Wevik is leaving his position in the Watertown School District to become the Dean of Students at Bon Homme.

Wevik has spent the past four years serving as the Arrows head boys basketball and girls golf coach.

“Although we are extremely sad to see him leave, this is an excellent opportunity for Coach Wevik as school administration has been a career goal of his,” said Watertown Athletic Director Craig Boyens.  “Zach is an excellent teacher and coach and we appreciated the positive way in which related to his athletes and students.  We wish him all the best in his new role.”

The Watertown boys basketball program finished this season with a record of 6-15.  Wevik will finish out the upcoming school year and is preparing to coach the spring girls golf season.
