West River motorcycle crash leaves 58 year-old man dead

RAPID CITY, S.D.–A motorcylist has died in a crash in west river South Dakota.

The Highway Patrol says it happened Sunday afternoon, 32 miles west of Rapid City.

A 58 year-old man rolled the Harley Davidson at the intersection of U.S. Highway 385 and Horse Creek Road.

He was dead at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released yet.

Tony Mangan, a spokesman for the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, says it’s the second motorcycle fatality of the year in South Dakota.
