Down two sets, Sioux Falls O’Gorman would come back to take the final three sets to defeat Sioux Falls Washington 3-2 to repeat as the Class AA volleyball champion Set scores of 20-25, 26-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-10. Shelby Kinzer led the Warriors with eleven kills and 17 digs. Isabella Steffell had 16 kills for the Knights. Gabriella Jones with 24 digs.

Sioux Falls Christian swept Garretson 3-0 to claim their fifth straight Class A title. Set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-15. Logan Bly led in kills for the Blue Dragons with eight. The Chargers Katie VanEgdom notched 20 kills while Peyton Poppema had 11 digs.

Elkton-Lake Benton def. Hill City, 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 26-24

Seventh Place
Hamlin def. Parkston, 25-23, 25-22, 24-26, 25-18
Hamlin would take seventh place at the 2021 Class A Volleyball Tournament with a 3-1 win over Parkston. Set scores 25-23, 25-22, 24-26, 25-18. The Chargers Ally Abraham notched 21 kills, Grace Leiseth with 12. Four Chargers would notch double-digit dig totals, Kami Wadsworth 20, Grace Everson 19, Alyssa West 17, and Addison Neuendorf 12. Hamlin wraps with a record of 27-8 and graduates four seniors.

Championship
Warner def. Colman-Egan, 25-18, 25-20, 25-8
Warner would sweep Colman-Egan for their seventh Class B Volleyball Championship. Set scores 25-18, 25-20, 25-8. The Hawks Hailey Larson would lead the kill column with nine. The Monarchs Jennifer Aman had 14 kills, Kyleigh Schopp with 10. Kyra Marcuson led the digs category with 12.

Platte-Geddus def. Faulkton, 22-25, 25-8, 25-18, 20-25, 15-21

Fifth Place
Chester def. Aberdeen Christian, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-23

Seventh Place
Seventh place at the Class B Volleyball Tournament would go to Arlington as they downed Burke 3-1. Set scores 25-19, 18-25, 25-18, 25-19. Hadley Carson led the Cardinals with 14 kills and 27 digs, Morgan Larsen with seven kills and 11 digs, Harley Johns with 13 digs. Burke’s Adisyn Indahl had 22 kills and 29 digs. Arlington finished the year 31-7 and graduates three seniors.
