WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Yesterday’s rain washed out Watertown Post 17’s doubleheader at Mitchell. Games will be made up today (Friday) at 5 and 7 p.m. A reminder about the schedule change for the weekend as the previously scheduled Post 17 game at home vs Renner has been canceled. It has been replaced with a road trip to Yankton on Sunday for a noon and 2 p.m. first pitch.

Post 17 Junior Legion will take part in the Renner Tournament this weekend. On Saturday they will face Renner at noon and Luverne at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday Junior Legion will face an opponent to be determined at 1 p.m.

In amateur baseball, Castlewood Monarchs will face the Clear Lake Sloughsharks on Sunday at 8 p.m. Castlewood Ravens will travel to Lake Norden on Sunday for a 7 p.m. first pitch. Clark Traders will travel to Volga on Sunday for a 3 p.m. affair. Milbank Firechiefs will travel to Bryant on Sunday at 4 p.m.
