Clark 19, Castlewood Ravens 10
Andrew Magedanz’s four-hit night would send the Clark Traders past the Castlewood Ravens 19-10 Friday night. Magedanze would also collect 5 RBI’s on the night. The Trader’s Zach Toben would have three hits at the plate while going six innings on the hill, striking out one. Rhett Florey would have four RBI’s. Mitchell Tolk would have a three-hit night for the Ravens and Alex Gauer would send three past the plate. Tucker Wookey would pitch six innings for Castlewood striking out four.
Milbank 12, Lake Norden 2
Milbank would have a nine-hit night en route to a 12-2 win over Lake Norden Friday. Johnny Ash would drop down two hits and three RBI’s and Jacob Jackson would have a two-hit, two-RBI night. Lance Frogner would go five innings on the hill for the Firechiefs fanning six. Brad Noem would pitch four innings for Lake Norden striking out three.
Castlewood Monarchs 5, Aurora 1
The Castlewood Monarchs would amass 10 hits in a 5-1 win over Aurora Friday. Kellan Benck would pitch all nine innings for the Monarchs striking out 11 and tossing 19 first-pitch strikes. Several Castlewood players would have a multiple hit night led by Trey Schmidt with two hits and two RBI’s. Blayne Schliesman and Parker Schmidt would each have two hits for the Monarchs.
Brookings 14, Castlewood Ravens 13
A walk-off in the ninth gave the Brookings Cubs the win over the Castlewood Ravens 14-13 on Sunday. Mike Stubbs would lead the Ravens with three hits and throw four innings on the mound issuing 18 first-pitch strikes. Carter roach would have three RBI’s for Castlewood.
Castlewood Monarchs 12, Hamlin 9
A seven-spot in the eighth inning was enough as the Castlewood Monarchs would defeat the Hamlin Chargers 12-9 on Sunday. Kellan Benck would have a four-hit, seven RBI night for the Monarchs while Jacob Tvedt would go six and a third on the hill and fan 12 for the Monarchs. Cody Swenson would have four hits and Nathan Holida would collect three RBIs for Hamlin.
