WBB: Jacks extend winning streak to six

FARGO, N.D. (GoJacks.com) – South Dakota State women’s basketball moved to 14-8 on the season and 10-1 in the Summit League Saturday with a 76-60 win over North Dakota State at the Scheels Center. Myah Selland paced the Jackrabbit offense with a season-high 23 points, 15 of which came in the third quarter alone, to push the Jacks to their sixth straight win.

Four Jackrabbits contributed double figures on the night. In addition to Selland’s 23, Paige Meyer and Paiton Burckhard added 12 points apiece while Tylee Irwin chipped in 10. Burckhard just missed a double-double, finishing with nine boards for the second consecutive game, and tallied two assists and two steals. Kallie Theisen had five rebounds while Selland and Meyer added four each. Meyer’s four helpers was a team high.

The Jackrabbits return to Brookings next week to host in-state rival South Dakota Saturday afternoon at Frost Arena.
