WBA announces 2022 Hall of Fame Class

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Baseball Hall of Fame have announced their inductees for their 2022 class.
Two players, one coach, and Watertown’s only American Legion State Championship Team will head to the hall this year.
Heath Rylance will be inducted this year as a player. Watertown Post 17 Coach Ryan Neale says most people know Rylance as a star Canadian football player, but he was also outstanding in baseball:
Also being inducted as a player is Spencer Waite. Coach Neale says Waite was one of the better two-way players that Watertown has seen:
The first coach that will see the hall is Mitch Johnson who spearheaded a great run of success in the early ’90s for Post 17:
Watertown’s only American Legion State Championship Team from 1931 will also be inducted. Coach Neale says not a lot is known about the team:
The Class of 2022 will be inducted over Hall of Fame weekend May 20th through the 22nd:
