Watertown’s Persona Signs purchased by east coast private equity affiliate

BALTIMORE, Md.–A private equity group has announced it has purchased Watertown-based sign maker Persona Signs.

Exeter Street Capital Partners of Baltimore, Maryland announced the purchase Tuesday.

Persona Signs has been based in Watertown for more than forty years, and is one of the largest national commercial sign providers to the hospitality, restaurant and convenience store sectors.

Persona is the second investment made by Exeter Image Holdings this year, joining Triangle Sign and Service, to form one of the largest signage and lighting companies in the country.

Greg Kulesa will be the CEO of the newly-named Persona-Triangle. Mike Peterson will remain President of Persona and Craig Horn will remain Chief Operating Officer of Persona.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
