WATERTOWN, S.D.–It’s not just Highway 212 thru Watertown that will be re-built this summer.

So will some of the land along the highway.

The city council on Monday night approved plans for the Sinclair First Addition project. It’s land adjacent to Montgomery’s Furniture at Highway 212 and 11th Street Southeast. It’ll become the home of several new office and retail buildings.

Watertown City Manager Amanda Mack…

Mayor Ried Holien tells KWAT News he’s a fan of this development…

Mack believes it’ll be a new “gateway” into Watertown from the east….

The petitioner for the development is Clark Sinclair, the owner/operator of Montgomery Furniture stores.

Right now, 11th Street Southeast ends at Highway 212, but it will be extendend to Jenson Avenue as part of this development project.
