Watertown’s Highway 81 flowers to be planted Wednesday

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The City of Watertown Parks and Recreation Department will be holding its annual Highway 81 flower planting project on Wednesday, May 26th beginning at 8:00 a.m. with an expected completion by 12:00 noon.
The boulevards being planted are between 1st Avenue SE extending to 5th Avenue SE on both the east and west side of US Highway 81.
We ask the public to slow down and to use extreme caution if entering the work zone and to keep an eye out for staff and volunteers doing the planting.
