WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown City Council held a work session this week where they heard a presentation on the proposed 2022 city budget.
City Manager Amanda Mack says the $21.5 million general fund budget calls for adding four city employees next year, bringing the total number of city workers to 232……
Mack says one of the uncertainties for 2022 is how the city can use close to four million COVID relief dollars…
All in all, the budget was received positively by the council…
Final budget approval will come in early November.
