Watertown working on park plans for the disabled  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.—Watertown Parks and Recreation Director Terry Kelly says work could begin yet this summer or fall on making one of Watertown’s city parks accessible to the disabled.

He gave an update at Monday night’s city council meeting…

Kelly says they hope to sew up a few of the unknowns on this project in the next few weeks…..

Kelly talked about how the park will need to be built to meet ADA requirements…

Kelly says Councilman Dan Albertsen has been instrumental in helping to secure funding for this project.
