Watertown woman organizes pro abortion rally at South Dakota Capitol (Audio)

PIERRE, S.D.–Pro choice supporters held a rally over the weekend (July 23-24, 2022) at the state Capitol in Pierre.
Cassie Hudson from Watertown was one of the organizers of the event. She organized a similar rally at the Codington County Courthouse in Watertown, then was encouraged to think bigger.
South Dakota is one of 13 states that had a trigger law in place to immediately make abortions illegal when Roe vs. Wade was overturned.
