WATERTOWN, S.D.–The driver of a vehicle that rolled Tuesday on Highway 20 near the Watertown Regional Airport escaped serious injury, but was arrested.

Police were dispatched just after 5:00 p.m. to the accident involving a Ford Escape, which went into the median of the highway and rolled multiple times.

The driver, 23 year-old Taylor Rowland of Watertown, was evaluated on the scene by medical personnel and was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say alcohol appears to have been a factor in the rollover, and they arrested Rowland and charged her with DUI and driving with a suspended license.

One westbound lane of traffic was shut down for approximately 30 minutes during the crash investigation.
