WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown will celebrate Independence Day tomorrow with an afternoon parade downtown at 2 o’clock, and then an evening of fun and fireworks at the Anza Soccer Complex on 17th Street South.
City Councilman Randy Tupper gathered $40,000 in donations from local businesses to make it all happen. He says activities will begin around 5:30 Tuesday night….
Derek Miller of Lew’s Fireworks has put together this year’s 20-minute fireworks show, which will by synchronized to music on KKSD….104.3 on your FM dial.
He says this will be the biggest fireworks show in the state….
Parking is not allowed along 17th Street.
People are also asked to leave their pets at home.
