Watertown United Way campaign exceeds fundraising goal! (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Area United Way held an event at Montgomery’s Furniture Wednesday night to announce the results of their recent fundraising campaign, and to recognize several local businesses who helped them reach and surpass their goal.

Executive Director Laura Heathcote (pictured)  says they raised $655,000 in this most recent campaign.

The goal was $550,000……

And now the United Way Board of Directors will be tasked with deciding which non-profits will benefit from the money raised….and how much they’ll get…

The top 5 Corporate Givers of the 2023-2024 Campaign were First Premier Bank and Premier Bankcard. Prairie Lakes Healthcare System, Watertown Ford Chrysler, Miller Electric Manufacturing and Terex Utilities.
