WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown School District has wasted no time in finding a new Director of Nutrition Services.

Superintendent Dr. Jeff Danielsen announced Caitlin Bach has been hired, pending approval of the Watertown School Board at its January 10th meeting.

In a news release, Danielsen said, “We are excited to have Caitlin on board as our Director of Nutrition Services. Her enthusiasm and knowledge are a great fit for our Nutrition Services department. She has a proven track record of working with people and finding solutions.”

Bach has been the multi-service general manager for Prairie Lakes Healthcare System/Sodexo for the past two years. Prior to that, she was the food service manager and held many other kitchen roles serving Prairie Lakes for the last 13 years.

Bach is a Watertown High School and Lake Area Tech graduate, and has additional certifications as a Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food Protection Professional from the Univeristy of North Dakota.

Pending school board approval, Bach will begin her new duties on January 17th.

She will replace Lakeya Maddox, whose resignation was accepted by the school board at their meeting last week.
