WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown School Board on Monday night voted to seek bids on Phase Two of the Athletic Complex construction project.
Jason Kann with Co-Op Architects addressed the board on some of the subtle changes that have been made to the original schematic designs.
Phase two includes home team grandstands (pictured) on the west side of the artificial turf field, an elevator leading up to the press box and suites, and a fieldhouse on the south end of the complex that will include locker rooms, bathrooms and concessions.
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Danielsen laid out the projected timeline for getting work on Phase Two finished…..
The new athletic complex just north of the High School, when finished, will replace the Watertown Stadium for varsity football games.
The new complex will have a seating capacity of 4,500.
