WATERTOWN, S.D.—Watertown Regional Library has announced it will re-open Wednesday July 1st—with limited services.
Librarian Dee Dee Whitman says there will be a “soft opening” July 1st and 2nd, with operating hours from 1-5 p.m. Regular business hours will resume on Monday July 6th.
Patrons will be asked to keep a six foot social distance from staff and other patrons.
In order to encourage social distancing, computer usage will be limited to 30 minutes per person, per day.
Kids 12 and under will only be allowed in the library if they’re with an adult.
Whitman says the kids and young adult areas that include interactive toys, tables and games will not be available, because those items are difficult to clean.
All returned library items must be placed in the outside book drop in order to be moved into quarantine.
