Watertown Police Department delivers annual report to City Council (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Police Department delivered their 2021 annual report to the city council Monday night.

Police Chief Tim Toomey and Assistant Chief Ryan Remmers did the honors.

Remmers told the council about the extensive training officers go through each year on a limited training budget…

Remmers says there were only 10 complaints of officers’ conduct that were looked into last year…..

Police Chief Tim Toomey was asked about the drug scene in Watertown as it exists today…

The presentation wrapped up with Councilman Randy Tupper giving the P-D a pat on the back for a job well done…
