WATERTOWN, S.D.–A 19 year-old Watertown man is facing several felony charges for stealing guns and money from an address in the 2000 block of Kemp Avenue.

Police were called there on July 19th, but the suspect had already fled.

The next day, officers responded to a report of a gunshot fired from a moving vehicle near 2nd Avenue and 12th Street Southeast.

Police saw that same suspect vehicle the following day, and through their investigation, determined 19 year-old Trenton Richotte (pictured) was responsible for the burglary and the gunshot from the moving vehicle.

He was arrested and is charged with felony burglary, grand theft, discharging a weapon from a moving vehicle, and posessing a firemarm with a prior felony drug conviction. He was also wanted on a no bond warrant out of Roberts County.

One of the weapons stolen in the burglary was recovered.
