Watertown PD participating in national Drug Take Back Day

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Police Department will be participating in this weekend’s National Drug Take Back Day.
The event is done in conjunction with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
Any unused or expired prescription medications can be dropped off for proper disposal at the Watertown Police Department on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A drug disposable box is located in the police department lobby.
Creams and aerosols cannot be accepted.
The drugs collected Saturday will be taken to an incinerator where they’ll be destroyed.
