Watertown native Quigley named to South Dakota’s Law Enforcement Standards and Training Commission

PIERRE, S.D.–Tea, South Dakota Police Chief Jessica Quigley has been appointed by Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg to serve on the Law Enforcement Standards and Training Commission.

Quigley replaces Matt Burns, the now retired Sioux Falls police chief, who had served on the commission since 2015.

Quigley is a Watertown native whose been Tea police chief for six years. Before that, she was with the Sioux Falls Police Department.

The 13-member commission sets the training standards and certification process for South Dakota’s law enforcement community.
