CEDAR RAPIDS, I.A. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown native Jada Anderson would hit a career-best time at the NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championships Friday.
Anderson hit a career-best time of 19 minutes, 28.98 seconds to place 135th overall for Dakota State. Her previous personal best time was 19 minutes, 36.61 seconds set in the Mount Marty (S.D.) Invitational on March 26, 2019. Anderson took home 176th place, an improvement from her 2019 finish.
A total of 326 runners completed the women’s 5K national race held at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
