Watertown moves on with two dominant wins over Aberdeen

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Post 17 would dominate Aberdeen Tuesday night, winning the region playoff 2-0 in the best of three series.

Game one would be a dominant 17-0 win for the purple and gold.  Watertown hitters would combine for eleven hits and 15 RBI’s Mason Evans would lead the charge with three hits and eight RBI’s including this three RBI double:

Kale Stevenson would throw the complete game on the hill, going five innings for 80 pitches, two hits, and ten strikeouts.

Game two would also be a dominant 16-5 win for Watertown. Kale Steven would lead the charge in game two with two hits and three RBI’s including this RBI triple:

Peyton Johnston would also drop down two hits and three RBI’s.  Watertown batters would have 12 hits in the game.
Lexan Throson would throw the complete game, going five innings for 100 pitches, 10 hits, five runs, and ten strikeouts.
