Watertown man arrested on meth charges

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown police say a traffic stop led to a drug bust and the arrest of a local man.
Sergeant Trevor Barthel says officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400-block of 4th Avenue Southeast over the noon hour Wednesday.
The driver was identified as 45 year-old Eric Block of Watertown.
During the stop, meth was located in the car.
A search of Block’s residence also was conducted, which resulted in additional meth and drug paraphernalia being located.
Police did not release the amount of drugs confiscated.
Block was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia.
He was already on federal probation at the time of his arrest for distribution of meth.
