Watertown makes it a perfect weekend at the East-West Tournament

SPEARFISH, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown would make it a perfect 5-0 weekend at the East-West Tournament in the Black Hills.
On Friday, Watertown would down Rapid City Central in game one 2-0. Set scores of 25-10, 25-21. Jaydyn Hoftiezer and Maggie Heesch would each tally eight kills and Abby Bramber would add 9 digs.
The Arrows would edge Spearfish in game two 2-0. Set scores 25-11, 25-19. Jayden Hoftiezer would register 3 aces at the serving line. Maggie Heesch would total 9 kills and Abby Johnson would account for 9 digs.
The final game of Friday would see Watertown defeat Douglas 2-0. Set scores of 25-6, 25-10. Olivia Corey would lead the way at the serving line with three aces, Carlie Reppe would tally nine kills.
Watertown would start Saturday with a 2-0 win over Sturgis. Set scores 25-13, 25-22. Jadyn Hoftiezer would go six of six from the serving line with two aces. Emerson Smith would tally six kills and Anna Johnson would contribute 11 digs.
The Arrows would wrap up the East-West Tournament with a 2-0 win against Rapid City Stevens. Set scores 25-19, 25-14. Emerson Smith would tally eight kills and Jadyn Hoftiezer and Maggie Heesch would each add seven kills. Abby Bramer would contribute 12 digs and Anna Johnson and Jaydyn Hoftiezer each would add 11 digs.
