Watertown Fire Rescue responds to house fire

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown Fire Rescue was called this weekend to a house fire at 307 South Maple Street.
The fire was reported just before 6:30 Saturday morning.
When crews arrived, they conducted a primary search and found the house unoccupied.
After the initial search, crews knocked down the fire within five minutes, and confined damage to the main floor kitchen and living room area, where the fire started.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
